Cube Steak with Mushroom Gravy
1/2 tsp salt
black pepper (to taste)
4 tbsp flour
1 1/2 cup beef broth
4 cube steak (4 oz each)
8 oz mushroom sliced
1. Mix together broth and 2 tablespoons flour in a measuring cup. Coat steaks with remaining 2 tablespoons flour, 1/4 teaspoon salt, and pepper.
2. Spray a skillet with cooking spray and set over high heat. Add steaks and cook for 2 minutes per side.
3. Stir in mushrooms and broth mixture, then bring to a boil. Cover and simmer for 20-30 minutes. Uncover and cook until the gravy thickens.
4. Serve with your choice of vegetables or potatoes.
